Can we all just agree to call a spade a spade and say --

HOW IS THIS EVEN THE SAME DIMENSION THAT WE WERE LIVING IN 3 MONTHS AGO?!

I look at the person I was when I drew these graduation designs and I don't even recognize that girl. (And not just because of the extra cookies I may or may not have been eating during my social isolation weeks.)

I still wake up every day. And wear clothes -- ON PURPOSE. I mow my lawn. I have a lawn to mow. I make questionable bedtime decisions. I shoo my children into the great outdoors whenever possible. And I still hide my favorite Easter candy in the pantry where no one else can find it. Not everything has changed.

But there's kind of an elephant in the room. Or at least a child. Or at least...FOUR OF THEM that all need simultaneous help understanding where in the world the link for the project/assignment/quiz/test/coloring page of happiness is located.

I started the school year with the decision to enroll my youngest child in full day kindergarten. And ended the school year in a one-room school house.

My brain just can't expand enough to handle that kind of transition.

It's kind of hard to explain with words. So I drew you a picture. Maybe this will help.

Somehow...MIRACULOUSLY....we are powering through with actual meals and turned in assignments.

I just can't use my brain again yet. And it's looking like it might be awhile before we get that thing powered back up and functioning as intended..

It's a good thing Previous Georganne designed some suuuuuuuper easy graduation cookies before she went away to another dimension where chocolate is a required food and socks fold themselves.
