Just to check --

Is eating homemade strawberry jam by the spoonful okay now? Like... can I call that a meal and check off a serving of fruit?

Or is that still in the "Let's both agree to pretend that neither of us do that, but secretly we really just want to be invited to a strawberry jam eating party with no children and no homework" category?

Because I just can't be sure of anything anymore.

Letting my kids play outside all day with their friends is currently frowned upon.

Showing up to the office every day? THAT is a definite no-no.

But watching movies on the couch while eating take-out is basically our civic duty. And... I don't know about you, but I definitely want to be a good citizen.

Pajamas are now considering daytime clothing. That happened fast.  I mean...that took us, what? 48 hours? Like yoga pants are SO UNCOMFORTABLE that we were looking for any opportunity to give them up for pajamas? I actually think my neighbor has even moved on to just wearing blankets these days. (I'm no calling you out Jodi. I'm talking about the "other" neighbor.)

Where does it all end?

PLEASE.

PLEASE say it ends with a strawberry jam eating party.

How to make graduation cap decorated sugar cookies:

Step 1.

Outline and fill the top part of the cap with a medium consistency yellow icing and a #3 tip. Let dry for 15 minutes.

Step 2.

Outline and fill the bottom portion of the cap with the same icing. Let dry for a couple of hours.

Step 3.

With red icing and a #1.5 tip, pipe the string for the tassel first. Then pipe the bottom of the tassel, and pipe the dot in the center last. With the same yellow icing and a #1.5 tip, pipe a small outline to the front edge of the top of the grad cap to add dimension.
