Tropical Color Palette and Icing Formulas

Use this icing color palette and the formulas to make icing for your next tropical cookie project!!  I used Chefmaster brand food coloring for all of these formulas. If you're not sure what the "parts" mean, or how to use these formulas, check out THIS POST for detailed step-by-step photos! When I make different colors with the same ratios (like the greens above), I usually make the darkest color first. Then I add some of the darker colored icing into a bowl of fresh white icing to make a lighter version of the same icing. See how I made the Tropical Christmas Cookies HERE !! See more of my color palettes and formulas HERE ! Grab the cutters:   Santa ,  Mrs. Claus ,  flamingo ,  palm tree ,  reindeer ,  flip-flop ,  palm branch ,  sun ,  lemonade pitcher ,  light bulb ,  plaque ,  turtle ,  snowman , and  flower .

(More creative license...you can be sure of that. 😂😂) One of those sweet little angel faces looks up and asks, "Mommy, was our coat closet always full of cookie cutters?" The clearly-has-it-all-together-mother-impersonators stares off into the middle distance and says, "Let me tell you a story..."

Patriotic Color Palette and Icing Formulas

Use this icing color palette and the formulas to make icing for your next patriotic cookie project!!  I used Chefmaster brand food coloring for all of these formulas. If you're not sure what the "parts" mean, or how to use these formulas, check out THIS POST for detailed step-by-step photos! When I make very light or pale icing colors, I mix the food coloring into a very small amount of icing (2 tablespoons) first and then use that saturated icing to color the rest of my icing. (Check out THIS POST for details.) I used the first set of Sweet Sugarbelle MINI SHAPE SHIFTER cutters for these adorable cookies! You can grab them HERE!
