In 1617, during a voyage through the Caribbean, the SS Night Hours - a loaded schooner owned by the East India Cookie Company - was attacked by Sugar Pirates. The cargo was lost. Every last cutter and sprinkle was taken. The crew was forced to join the pirates or walk the plank.
Abandoned at sea, the ship was later discovered washed ashore by a band of small village children...only to disappear the very next day. Afraid of the repercussions of exploring a decaying ship before they finished their homework, they told no one. Years later, after decades of searching for a treasure that had long been considered lost, buried, sunken, or hidden... one child shared their lifelong secret.
They had seen a simple message scrawled in the side of the cargo hold.... a clue to find the treasure!
Since that revelation, many adventurers have set out in search of the lost Cookie Haul of the SS Night Hours...and none have returned. Perhaps it's already been found. Perhaps the clue leads only to despair and destruction.
