Fantastic Find Friday -- Cookie Cowgirl's Dark Cocoa Blend

Hey! I know it's been awhile, but I'm back on the Fantastic Find Wagon!! I've got a ton of super new products in the line up...but I want to first make sure you've heard of some of the great new products that have come out over the last few months. First up -- Cookie Cowgirl's Dark Cocoa Blend!!

I'm not sure if you know... I kind of love chocolate cookies. Like, if I wasn't already married... I would consider at least going out with them...you know...just to see where things went. If it turned into a serious, long term commitment...I would be on board with that. As it is, I'm happily married so chocolate cookies and I have a strictly platonic relationship.

So, as you can imagine I was super excited to try Cookie Cowgirl's Cocoa. It's a delicious blend of dark cocoas and you can tell right away. It smells different, it looks different, and it tastes different. Let's get right down to it --

PROS:
** It tastes exactly like dark chocolate (without the *burnt* chocolate flavor of other dark cocoas). Which can be good and bad depending on whether you like dark chocolate or not! Although, if I'm being completely honest here *I* don't like dark chocolate, and I still really liked the flavor of this cocoa blend!
** It gives the cookies a nice, deep brown background which really makes all your icing colors POP!
** It handles and bakes exactly as my regular cocoa does...no weird clumps or bitterness in the dough.
** You can purchase it from Truly Mad Plastics from the comfort of your own home. No need to vacation near Amish country to procure this dark cocoa goodness.

CONS:
** Dark chocolate has a different flavor that some people might not expect from a chocolate cookie. (Full disclosure -- I gave some baked cookies to my kids and they didn't even blink. So either they don't have the incredibly developed palates they claim to have... or it's just delicious. Probably both.)
** At $4.99 for 8 ounces it is a little more expensive than the cocoa you can find at the grocery store...but I don't know of a single grocery store that sells dark cocoa.

And because you know I love you... I want one of YOU to try it out too!! Just click EASY ENTRY on that widget below and you'll be entered for your very own 8 ounces of pure cocoa goodness!
