free peeps cutter?

~~~GIVEAWAY CLOSED~~~
I am just going to come right out and say this. I don't understand the buzz about the elusive peeps cutter. Probably because I don't really like peeps. By all means, I should -- they are marshmallow and have an interesting texture and they come in all sorts of colors and they have weirdy eyes. What's not to love about weirdy eyes? But I don't love peeps. Like, at all. I do, however, feel bad for all of you trying to find the cutter. Every time I read about another fruitless search, I think to myself, "I could make you a cutter and it would probably take less time than your search" And then I thought --
I COULD MAKE YOU A CUTTER.
But, not all of you. Just one person. What I'm trying to say is that I am going to give away a custom cutter.  It doesn't have to be a peeps cutter. It could be anything you want. But not too big because my sheet metal is only so long. And...not a scalloped circle cutter because I'm not THAT good at making cutters. All YOU have to do to enter this giveaway is leave me a comment saying what shape you'd want. (Don't worry. You can totally change your mind.)
And since I know that giveaways are bittersweet because you want to share them with everyone and keep them to yourselves so you have a better chance of winning, I'll give you an extra entry for sharing this giveaway. You can share it however you like -- facebook, twitter, email to your Aunt Sarah....whatever. Then come back and leave me another comment letting me know.
I will accept entries until midnight in Hawaii on March 15th. And then I'll pick one lucky person and continue to feel bad for the rest of you. Deal?
And I just watched a depressing movie. I thought you should know.
Yay!! I'm the first to leave you a comment (can that mean I win?). I don't like peeps either but what I do like (or love!) would be to have a cutter that is in the shape of a frame (sort of like the cutter you used to make your darling leprecauns). Of course it should be different because I would NEVER want to copy your cookies (they wouldn't come out good enough!). Ok, hope I win!!
A Slice of Cake Cutter would be awesome! :)
I LOVE the shape you used yesterday for the leprechauns!
yeah I'd want your fancy shape form yesterday too.
Ditto on the fancy schmancy shape from yesterday.
Okay. Too curious not to ask. What was the depressing movie?
I think I'd like Peeps shaped cookies more than actual peeps... I'm with you I just don't really like them that much. But, I LOVE the idea of this giveaway! I really liked the shape you used yesterday too but I think I might want something else like a pineapple or that cute sheep in your photo.
Hmmm, now you've got me thinking. I would say a Mickey Icon shaped cutter but I already have one in two different sizes... so what about a bow shaped one so I can make Minnie ones out of my Mickey ones too. Afterall, I have two girls. I've gotta have some Minnie cookies too, right?
I'm impressed that you can MAKE cookie cutters! If you pick me, I'll take anything you would like to make. I'm a novice cookie baker and have very few cutters at this point. Thanks for offering the giveaway!
Hello Dear,
cutter I'd like is kind of hard to explain, it is sort of a plaque type of thing, like ornamental mirror or frame shape.I have a picture.
I'd love a bowling pin!
I love your cutter that you used for your leprechaun, too! I'm a scrapbooker-turned-cookie-baker and I have tools to cut that shape on paper, but not on dough. :-)
Thanks for such a great giveaway!
Debbie said...
I like animas heads (faces), so I would like a cookie cutter shaped like a boxer dog. I like to decorate my cookies with fondant, so if you had cutters for the eyes, nose or pieces to layer would be fantastic.
I'd love a cookie cutter shaped as a cow, or even better a cow's head! Both my husband and I are currently sort of obsessed with cows, as crazy as that may sound :)
How exciting! We are all so cookie cutter obsessed that this is the perfect give-away! Thanks so much for doing this. My choice would be a princess hat. Like a cone with ribbon on the side. I can show you a picture. It probably would be not too painful to make and I'd love it for my castle/fantasy collection. Thanks so much!!!
Yael said...
I actually have no idea what I would want. I'm not very good at thinking of things when I'm asked- only when I have nobody to tell it to! Definitely don't like peeps and the cutter is not important to me, so maybe a slice of pie cutter- lame I know but..
It wouldn't matter what shape cookie cutter you made me. I would be honored to have something you created only to hope that it would transfer some of your magnificent artistry to my cookies. I am inspired to be more of a risk taker as I look at your incredible creations. I just discovered your blog and I am so excited to see everything. I have always enjoyed baking but lately love trying to decorate with icing. Thanks for feeding my recent obsession in the kitchen. I will be a frequent visitor.
