This is gorgeous! I love the dimension to the flower just by the coloring alone. I really love all of your designs. I LOVED your sons birthday cake. That was so adorable. :)
The flower is made out of fondant. Using the Wilton Comfort Grip Daisy cutter, I cut out two pink flowers and put them in a bowl to dry for 3 days. (I put them inside a bowl to dry so the petals would bend toward the middle.) I used a fondant daisy cutter for the center set of petals, and added veins with a fondant veining tool and then, just like the others, let that dry in a bowl for 3 days. Using watered down food coloring and a food paintbrush, I painted the edges of each petal and let them dry. I used melted chocolate to stick each set of petals together and then made a cute little button center out of green fondant.
